NO!!! First, Riley Walker was not likable at all. I found myself skimming through of this because I was getting bored. This book can be considered a stand-alone but I would highly recommend reading Bad Rep (book# 1). Not Perfect Regret, it was everything and more! Toolbox:
When I started it I literally.....I loved Bad Rep and I like this authors writing style. The best way to introduce modals of regret is to first define and discuss regrets and what they are.The key element to stress with regret is that you are looking back upon a past event and reflecting upon it.The feeling of regret is not positive, and it comes from strongly wanting to change your actions, your behaviors, your reactions, etc. You will know exactly what I mean once you get reading. Riley Walker makes all the right decisions and knows exactly where her life is headed.
When I started it I literally.....I was honored when I received and ARC of Perfect Regret from A. Meredith Walters' ~ I freaking ADORE her to the moon and back ~ I also purchased this one cause well I loved it! I felt that their relationship moved at too fast of a pace before one of them declared their undying love to the other. Wtf?? sighRiley, remember her? It was OK. A huge let down after book #1 in the series, Bad Rep.
Riley Walker certainly doesn’t make spontaneous decisions. I loved the story of Garrett and Riley and have to admit there are a number of occasions I wanted to jump in and grip Riley by the shoulders and give her a big damn shake!!

She reminded me a bit of Keira in Thoughtless.Finally, got second part... and was good, I like it. First, Riley Walker was not likable at all. Although the scene was really sappy and sweet and made me go aww, I felt their feelings were really rushed, as they didn't really get to know each other well enough to fall in love with each other, despite their intense connection. What is Regret. You will know exactly what I mean once you get reading. Although this journey to the HEA caused my claws to come out several times, the overall story just worked.Am I seeing things or does it say Riley and Garrett's story? I laughed. [It's basically same old story: nice girl meets townie & trashed guy, who has a sad background and is smart Finally, got second part... and was good, I like it. I um was stimulated.
