"Murren was a total Wow! Additionally, Switzerland is a very expensive country, and I think this tour provided the best value of all of our tours because prices in Switzerland are so high. "Going up to the top of St. Pilatus. The cities visited were great. But you had wisely built backup plans into the schedule. Skip the Olympic museum and wine tasting- needed the time to see the town of Lausanne, which we did not have enough time to see. "Very helpful on the tour. Based upon the locations to be visited, I had high expectations that this would be the perfect itinerary for touring Switzerland, and the trip itself exceeded my expectations. "Standing on the observation platform at Schilthorn I realized the immensity of the Alpine Mountains. "Too many wow moments to list on this tour, but really enjoyed waking up in Murren to the beautiful view of the mountains outside our hotel windows and balcony. The views from the winery were stunning and it was a magical afternoon. I"I have to say, being back in Murren and hiking the mountain trails was my 'wow' moment. I also enjoyed meeting the people that were part of the tour. The risotto making was great fun and the two fondues gave a taste of Switzerland. "I loved staying in Murren. I liked the variety of the tour time and the free time too. Unfortunately, the weather put a damper (pun intended) on the Alp viewing. Fortress Furingen was claustrophobic and airless and many people complained. beautiful flowers everywhere. Donald and Kevin did an outstanding job shepherding the large group through the absolute beauty of the Swiss countryside. And, a wonderful group of people on our tour who all mixed extremely well throughout the 12 days together! The coach driver, Marion was a delight and became part of the group even helping to stir our risotto. Best of Switzerland is not cities, but trip was 2/3 cities. Terrifying, breathtaking and exhilarating!

I wish we had more time in Murren and in Bern.This was another (I've taken 8 others) good tour. Able to see unexpected sights beyond the stated itinerary due to some natural phenomena at this time of year. "The fantastic mountain top vistas and hiking the trails down the mountains are two that immediate come to mind. I believe we experienced a good representation of Switzerland.
Lots of fun. There could not possibly be just one! Still, being in the clouds was mystical in itself and there were clear views of the Eiger and the Jungfrough the morning we departed. And the next day hiking to the valley below with the clouds enveloping Lauterbrunnen. My favorite memory! That made packing a little tricky but that's Switzerland. Apply your credit to future tours run by the same tour operator. Viewing the Alps, going up the lift and traveling through the snow tunnel, hiking around and viewing the Matterhorn! The trip covered a great amount of territory and gave me a nice understanding of Switzerland and its mountains, the various cultures that make up this country, the nature of its people and how they have adapted to their geography, language differences while creating an interesting Democracy.
