austin hays fantasy outlook
If you have an account, or they convert Chris Davis to a SP to fill their rotation needs.Oh god you’re so right, Calhoun so fits their profile And don’t sleep on them bringing Trumbo back on a cheap contract hahaAustin Hays – wtf am I going to do with you.
As long as he’s not terrible, he’s likely to get a lot of AB’s and that means a lot of chances to steal. This is just my perspective.
If he does, I will happily come back and eat my helping of crow
He was my first round ultra pick last year because with keepers and all – he was the most upside when my 11th pick came around.$10 seems pretty good in that deep of a league… tho, redrafting him will be around the same price prollyThanks for the confirmation. Full disclosure (I'm an Orioles homer), but I love Hays this season.
My biggest concern is that he plays the game so hard, especially on defense.
You completely got lost in rate stats, but the small sample size misleads you. He super hot, so for any leagues where you can snatch him, i suggest you do !
It’s kinda like roulette drafting an O’s AAAA player. The weird thing is Hays, Mountcastle and others aren’t expensive to play… They won’t be expensive to play for years, and that’s only if they’re good… Steve Wilkerson shouldn’t even be in the majorsAnd how long did they let Joey Rickard waste at-bats.
Former top prospect coming back from injury....smashing in AAA and now smashing in MLB....incredible. Wouldn't expect high BA with his aggressive approach and little feel for the K zone. Former top prospect coming back from injury....smashing in AAA and now smashing in MLB....incredible.
There is power here for sure. I wouldn’t get him back at 10. Even if his K% is decent. Seeing as he's been sidelined for more than a month, Hays will likely require multiple rehab games before reporting to Triple-A Norfolk.
At that point, he probably can/will reach 15 SBs, but I just don't see Baltimore allowing that. It's been obvious since at least Spring Training that he's one of their best hitters, which may not be saying much, but didn't quite see this coming when they decided to call him up out of the blue.
No, the actual difference is 72% vs 56%. Expand your Outlook.
