The actors created real people. Directed by J. Jesses Smith. The story is loaded with emotional scenes which range from highly hilarious to downright sad. I had NO problem watching this story unfold for two hours. I loved the adventurous times they shared and how both committed to their son and to each other no matters the odds. Directed by Drake Doremus. A true love story that is heart warming and touching. I gave the DVD to my mother as a gift and she watches it at least once a week! I think he would have known them best. Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy are amazing! Outrageously BRAVE! Again, didn’t nod off at all as my attention was taken by the plot.
But then I got confused because he was talking about dying and then about ending his own life. Makes us realise how lucky we are and polio more or less eradicated at this time. My rating 8/10Excellent movie about unconditional love and over coming life's challenges

As a personally disabled person who understands ongoing pain and suffering, the mentality of the film that choosing to end your own life, even in the midst of pain, is something to be celebrated, breaks my heart. Highly recommended. The casting of Breathe was superb and I was seriously impressed by Andrew Garfield’s performance. It might be a bit of a tear-jerker at times but it is very much worth watching at least once, or twice. A wonderful film, loved everything about it. Beautifully shot, though disappointingly wide screen, well worth a watch - really puts your own problems into perspective! A woman's dream of becoming a mother turns into a nightmare as she is stalked by a silent killer during her pregnancy.
