John, one of ten siblings, is survived by his sisters Antonina Romeo of Howell, NJ; Carmela Romeo of Toms River, NJ; Jill Romeo of Lakewood, NJ; Lucy Starr of Dublin, CA; and Gabriela Miller of Manalapan, NJ; his brothers Joseph Romeo of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; and Al Romeo of Howell, NJ; and dozens of nieces and nephews. ; and his siblings, Roger Spanske (Joy), Allen Spanske, Pat Jaroslawski (Larry), Denise Bull (David) and Nancy Sorenson. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 11th 2020 at 11:00 AM at the same location. ADD A MEMORY John moved from Brooklyn to Lakewood in 1976 to join his family who also recently relocated.

John was predeceased by his parents, Antonino and Angela Romeo, who respectively passed in 1994 and 2002; his brother, Gregory Romeo, who passed in 1994; and his sister Gracie, who passed in 2007.
