His real life story goes back to 1998 when he was guided by the then Agriculture Minister, Mr. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, to visit an International Dairy exhibition ' Agro-advantage-1998' in Mumbai, Goregaon. Mr. Vivek Nirmal, the mouthpiece of the Industry is also the member of CII - National Council on Dairy. Sarangdhar R. Nirmal, the Chairman and Managing Director of Prabhat Dairy Limited holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pune. Mr. Sarangdhar Nirmal is also lovingly called as ‘Bade Anna’ (that means elder brother) by people in and around Ahmednagar. He also headed Prabhat’s (NPD) New Product Development division and played a key role in the continued development of Prabhat, positioning it as “Partners in Progress” for all major MNC’s and SMU’s through strategic approach and supplier relationships, ensuring flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace.
