I got this book primarily because I read somewhere that Youth Congress fellows burnt copies of the book in some form of protest, and I was curious. its very accurate, plus is based in a real life story. Her strong leadership reviving congress back in late 90's.Very interesting read about the life of Sonia Gandhi, but the book got VERY long at the end. A fascinating tale of Sonia Gandhi - a much loved and much reviled person.As i finished this book, I wondered...why in God's name would the Congress want to ban this?? its a brilliant story of the hidden hand of destiny and how both her and her husbands lives changed India following the death of Indira gandhi. Right from the days of she working as a waitress to the romance with Rajiv to the marriage and finally entering the politics is well explained. If one can look over the dramatised( and slightly amateurish) nature of the commentary, this is a well researched & documented telling of contemporary history- Quite unbiased & objective.
