They have enormous As an update to my previously stated frustrations and my negative review of Open Edge, I was contacted by a customer service rep (Brea G.), who agreed to refund me two months worth of charges.
I have emailed and called more times then I can count and their employees will not talk to me on anything any more and respond with your attorney needs to call. Month-to-month, no contract, no PCI Compliance fees, no batch fees, no statement fees, no downgrade fees, no junk fees of any kind. Once we were shown the actual fees we called Open Edge and was told it was not there issue to notify us to take a PCI test. They charge outrageous fees! This undisclosed hidden (junk) fee enables the customer’s bank account to show a negative balance in many instances until the extra fee drops off. OpenEdge just decides one day to turn off our FirstData terminal and go with Global because they want everything in house. Cons: Beware of this merchant processor, please read reviews. You cannot depend on them to honor the rates they offer.
